“Across in Black and White” is a collaborative photographic exhibition by Milena Paile and Maryll Lopez who explore the world through contrasting yet complementary perspectives. Working exclusively in black and white, they create a visual dialogue that extends beyond physical spaces to evoke emotions, memories, and inner states.
Rather than following a linear narrative, the exhibition unfolds as a meditation on perception and presence. Walking side by side, the artists document fleeting details, quiet moments, and shifting light. Despite a 24-year age difference, their collaboration is rooted in a shared, intuitive way of seeing and moving through the world. The work reflects not only places visited, but the emotional landscapes discovered through observation and attentiveness.
